DIRECTIONS TO THE THEATER and PARKING

MetroStage is located at the north end of Old Town Alexandria along the river at:

There is an ample parking lot on Third Street in the business complex where MetroStage is located and free curb parking along Third Street.

ALERT:  Construction begins on GW Parkway at Humpback Bridge that is scheduled to end Spring 2010 and may cause delays northwest of  395 and the 14th Street Bridge.  For weekly updates and a list of suggested routes around the work zone, check www.humpbackbridge.dot.gov.

From DC (and MD via DC):
From DC, take 395 across 14th Street Bridge and take the second exit (exit 10B) immediately after the bridge that says Mount Vernon and National Airport.  This will put you on George Washington Parkway.
From MD, take George Washington Parkway towards Reagan National Airport.
Once you are on GW Parkway, pass the airport and the marina and turn Left on Madison Street.  Go 3 blocks and turn Left on N. Royal Street.  Go 4 blocks and turn Right on 3rd Street then immediately Left into the parking lot.  The theatre is the big glass entrance facing the parking lot.

From Montgomery County:
Take I-495 South across the American Legion Bridge.  Then take the first exit, following the signs to the southbound George Washington Parkway.  Follow the George Washington Parkway South, towards Washington. 
Once you pass I-395, you will pass Reagan National Airport and then the marina and turn Left on Madison Street.  Go 3 blocks and turn Left on N. Royal Street.  Go 4 blocks and turn Right on 3rd Street then immediately Left into the parking lot.  The theatre is the big glass entrance facing the parking lot.

From MD (Prince George’s County):
Take the Beltway (495 and 95) over Wilson Bridge.  Take the first exit which is Route 1 North and follow it into Alexandria.  After about 12 blocks, turn Right on Madison Street, left on N. Royal Street, Right on 3rd Street and left into the parking lot.

From Falls Church, VA:
Take Route 7 East towards Old Town Alexandria.  It will become King Street.  Turn Left on N. Royal Street, Right on 3rd Street, and Left into the parking lot.
