Known for his soulful tenor voice, gospel singer Robert E. Person has distinguished himself with his fertile mix of jazz, sacred music, and R&B. He initially emerged with his 2004 debut The Call, and built a loyal following with his sophisticated live shows.

Raised in Washington, DC, Person began performing in his teens, appearing in musical theater productions with the DC Youth Ensemble.
