MetroStage in final fundraising push for exciting new theater space
The venue in Alexandria's Old Town North neighborhood will offer a look like no other.
DC Theatre Arts wrote a great article about our campaign and new theatre!
“Roz White and William Knowles, well known to MetroStage audiences, were interviewed for Backstage at the Helen Hayes Awards, a series hosted on GATHER by Events DC and produced in partnership with Theatre Washington. Bonnie Nelson Schwartz was the executive producer. The other two interviews with Maria Manuela Goyanes, artistic director of Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and Debbie Allen, nationally known dancer, director, actress, filmmaker and Kennedy Center Honors recipient can be found at www.theatrewashington.org
“Artist Barbara Januszkiewicz will be represented in the new theatre. Her art is bold, vibrant and beautiful, reflective of the music that influences her work and the legacy of the Washington Color School. We think she is a perfect fit for our new theatre.” Carolyn Griffin
